Tiger Falters - Y.E. Yang Wins 2009 PGA

In a dramatic upset, Y.E. Yang, a golf professional from South Korea won the 2009 PGA Championship at Hazeltine Golf Club, beating Tiger Woods on the back nine of the final championship round Sunday with a score of -8 under par. This 110 ranked PGA Professional cinched his win by sticking his utility 3 wood with his 2nd shot close to the pin and then drilled in the putt for a birdie. Coming into 18 Yang was 1 stroke up and Woods faltered by producing bogie on 18 and faltering on previous holes. This is a historical win as no Asian professional has ever won a Major Championship ever, although many have come close. Congratulations Y.E., you've made South Korea proud.
